Awesome!  Mother's Day was a hit: first stop was the Metropolitan Museum in NYC for a peek at the newly openned Alexander McQueen exhibit.  Words fail to articulate the range of this great craftsman, artist, and visionary.  More to come later this week on the wonderful installations.  Next stop was at Broadway to the new show, "Baby its You".  Literally next door to the Tony Award winning "Memphis" this show is Babyboomer's delight.  The music is from the 50's and 60's including old time favorites that "Make you want to shout".  Finally dinner at Sardi's Restaurant, a Broadway favorite for over 90 years.  A great Mother's day week-end and you can bet I will be sharing more pictures of both events!

#New Jersey Marathon , a set on Flickr. 2011 New Jersey Marathon. I wish I could say that I have been training for the Jersey Marathon all year and today I met my goal. I was not nearly so ambitious this beautiful Sunday morning. I merely wanted to take a walk down the Asbury Park boardwalk and back. I found even the birds in the parking lot were confused; they did not know if they should walk, fly, or wait out all the bustle on the shore. Everyone was out; the old, the young,muscians, and a few pets too. It was a beautiful day for a run. I did at least walk. Enjoy the pictures.

#Sunset Sandy Hook , a set on Flickr. The sunset from the Jersey shore's Sandy Hook National Park and beach has majestic views of nature at its best. Water, wind, earth, melt as the heavens bow down to the end of a day. Enjoy

#Dining Atlantic Highlands , a set on Flickr. Dining in Atlantic Highlands at KYOTO Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant This evening's dining is near and far. Near because it is on Rt 36 in a shopping Plaza, far because it has an authentic feel of another place and time. For starters it was the chef's special Black Forest Roll. The presentation was excellent but the roll itself was one of the best I have ever tasted. Sticking with recommendation of the house, I had Sukiyuki, another winner. The dessert was more than a pretty picture, it was a tasty delight of green tea Ice Cream Tempura. Now off to watch a Sandy Hook beach sunset.
